Soaltee Crowne Plaza Kathmandu has won yet another award — the 12th Hospitality India and Explore the World Annual International Travel Awards for ‘Most Preferred Destination for Business Meetings, Leisure and Celebrations’.
The award ceremony was held in New Delhi on September 23 and was attended by well known personalities from hotel industry, travel trade, airlines and media.
Dr Mahesh Sharma, minister of state (IC) of Tourism and Culture, India, was the chief guest on the occasion. The award was presented to Upaul Majumdar, general manager of Soaltee Crowne Plaza by Vijay Goel, minister for Sports and Youth Affairs, India, and Salman Khurshid, senior parliamentarian, Ministry of External Affairs, India.
The 12th Hospitality India and Explore the World Annual International Travel Awards function was organised under DLK Publications Pvt Ltd, which caters to a wide array of segments like hotels, restaurants, aviation, railway, cargo and all those agencies that have a direct bearing on the fast flourishing hospitality industry.
